X-periment #2.5 - Transition

Hi lovelies!
For today's post, I've chosen a simple light navy green tube top with a layered effect.

E's Outfit 1

The top has been paired with some denim shorts, sandals and a straw hat for a casual look. A knot has also been tied in the top to add a summery feel, while the oversized clutch and bunch of bracelets keep it trendy. A simple side ponytail finishes off the summery outfit.

E's Outfit 2

A red bandage skirt has been chosen for this outfit, while the full effect of the layered top has been shown. To complement the red, is skinny gold belt and gold sandals; which keeps it classy. A messy updo adds to the simplicity of the look.

E's Outfit 3

The top has been dressed up for a night out, with a floral bib necklace, black studded heels and the same blue clutch. Again, keeping things simple yet sophisticated, allows the uniqueness of top to stand out. It has also been turned around to relocate the layered material behind. This gives off the effect of a train, which adds to the dressy style; as does the long straight hair.

Hope you enjoyed this post :)

X-periment #2.0 - Transition

Hello!!

In this post, the main highlight is on the light gold silky tank top.

A's Outfit 1

The top has been paired with a skin coloured leather shorts for a casual day out in the sun. The brown suede hat complements the neutral toned colour scheme, while the slippers bring together the look and adds a casual highlight.

A's Outfit 2

A black bandage skirt spices up the outfit, and gives it a more polished feel; while the print gives the outfit an extra dimension. Gold sandals and some gold and black bangles add a classy touch to an otherwise simple outfit.

A's Outfit 3

Here, the top has been paired with a sheer half cut maxi skirt, which gives the outfit a very trendy vibe. Simple gold and black jewellery adds an elegant air to the look, and some light gold heels complete it. A great outfit for a night out!

Hope you enjoyed it!

X-periment #01 - Stripe Attack

Hi everyone,
Here's our first look :)

Stripes are a fun and simple pattern that can automatically spice up a whole outfit. They can be matched perfectly with bright pieces, as seen with A's combination. The blue stripes complement the bright coloured shorts, which is great for a casual outing. Throw on some pearl wrist wear for that classy, feminine touch. Stripes can also be easily dressed up with some neutral heels.

Another great idea would be pairing them with nautical pieces, as demonstrated by E. Play it up with a bow-adorned hat, and you would be all set for a day out. Pair stripes with dark heels, and it could dress up the look. When it comes to choosing bottoms, it is important to keep in mind that vertical stripes create the illusion of longer legs.

Hope you liked it! <3
